Aubrey Jaap has been with the Archives since 2007 and serves as the Assistant Director. She coordinates the Archives digitization efforts and oral history collections, as well as manages the Archives social media outreach programs. Recently, she worked with the University of Montana’s Irish Studies Program to curate an exhibit titled “Erin’s Exiled Children: Irish America and the Road to the Rising,” which is traveling throughout Montana libraries and museums. She is a successful grant writer, with the most recent being a National Historical Publications and Records Commission grant application funded for $67,480 to catalog and preserve the C. Owen Smithers Photograph Collection. Aubrey is also a member of the Montana State Historical Records and Advisory Board. She has her B.S. in Public Relations from Montana State University-Billings.
